SpectraWave is for entertainment only. It records real audio from your microphone and lets you replay it with on-device effects (slow, reverse, and a clarity filter). It does not detect or prove paranormal activity, it does not add any voices that were not in the room, and it never uploads your audio. Results are not evidence of paranormal activity.
SpectraWave needs permission to use the microphone. If you declined it, open the iOS Settings app, find SpectraWave, and turn Microphone on. Then tap the record button again.
Check that your phone is not in silent mode and that the volume is up. Playback uses the normal media volume. The slow, reverse, and clarity effects are Pro features; the normal-speed playback is always available.
